Considered by i-D magazine as one of the top 20 makeup artists in Italy, Thais Bretas was born in Brazil. After initially pursuing studies in law, she decided to move to Switzerland 12 years ago, where she began her journey into the world of makeup. Splitting her time between Switzerland and Milan—where she now resides—Thais has worked for major brands including Prada, Miu Miu, Luxottica, Avant Toi, OVS, Maison Flaneur, Bulgari, LBM1911, John Frieda, Pinko Up, Fiorella Rubino, Technogym, Soto, Sansovino6, Timberland, Be Proud of This Dress (BPD), AS65, Ballantyne, Bata, Colmar, KIKO Milano, The Bridge, and Nike.
