Irene Montini and Rocco Gurrieri are an Italian visual artist duo born in 2017. With a strong visual identity linked to painterly and cinematographic imagery, they create editorial photographs, fashion brand campaigns, fashion films, short films, animations and documentaries in collaboration with Italian foundations such as Rai Teche and Istituto Luce Cinecittà. Their first solo photography and video exhibition, “Incanto”, opened to the public in September 2020 at the Novecento Museum in Florence, followed by group exhibitions at the Ferragamo Museum in Florence, Galerie Joseph le Palais in Paris and the Fattori Museum in Livorno. In 2023 they win the main prize at FGUK festival by Cinemazero with the fashion film “Look back Anouk” produced by Ferragamo. Meanwhile, they have been curating the Salvatore Ferragamo archive since 2018.
