Born in Switzerland in 1975 to a Sicilian family, Toni Pellegrino discovered his passion for hairstyling at just 16 years old.
He honed his craft at the Toni & Guy Academies in both London and Milan, before returning to his beloved Sicily in 1998 to open his first salon — a bold step that marked the beginning of an influential career.
From 2008 to 2015, Toni served as the Italian ambassador for Toni & Guy. In 2016, celebrating 25 years in the industry, he launched TONIPELLEGRINO Art & Science, a brand that merges artistic expression with technical expertise.
As Creative Director of The Best Club by Wella Group from 2010 to 2020, Toni helped shape the evolution of hair trends across Italy and beyond. His talent has taken him backstage at both Milan and London Fashion Weeks, where he’s contributed to shows for fashion powerhouses such as Miu Miu, Calvin Klein, Missoni, Vivienne Westwood, Salvatore Ferragamo, Antonio Marras, MSGM, and many more.
For the past eight years, Toni has also become a familiar face on Italian national TV, as one of the most beloved tutors on Detto, Fatto — the popular afternoon show produced by Endemol Shine Italy and aired on Rai 2.
