Born in Brazil and raised in São Paulo, Dinalva developed a keen eye and a love for fashion at a young age, reading magazines and attending fashion shows.
Following a graduation in fashion and communication at FAAP University in São Paulo and studying visual fashion and communication in Milan, Dinalva pursued a career as a fashion designer.
After completing an internship at the Italian magazine Marie Claire in 2000, she began working as a freelance stylist and has since collaborated with major fashion magazines such as Vogue Italy, Glamour Italy, Harper’s Bazaar Brazil, and numerous others.
She currently works for the French Oob Magazine and Oob Beauty as a fashion editor, and divides her time between Milan, Paris, and Brazil. She describes her style as very clean, with a certain amount of exaggeration where desired, but always refined and elegant.
